Privacy policy

PassCadet is operated by Fullmater LLP ("we"). This policy covers passcadet.com. It is short because the site does one thing: it collects a waitlist.

What we collect, and why

When you submit the waitlist form we store:

• Your email address. Required. We use it to email you when the tests launch.
• Your mobile number. Optional, and the form works without it. If you give it, we may send one WhatsApp or SMS message on launch day. We do not cold-call waitlist members.
• The exam you selected and the page language (English or Hindi), so we email you about the right exam.
• Campaign attribution: the utm_source, utm_medium,utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content,gclid and fbclid values in the link you arrived on, the page you landed on, and the referring website. We use this to work out which ads are worth running.
• Request metadata: the country your request came from, your browser's user-agent string, the submission time, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store your IP address itself. The hash exists to rate-limit abuse, and the salt rotates daily, so hashes cannot be matched across days.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not fingerprint or track visitors across sites.

We also count three of our own events — a page view, the moment someone starts typing in the form, and a completed signup — so we can tell whether a page works. Those event records hold the page path, exam, language, the UTM values above, country and the same daily IP hash. They hold no email address and no phone number.

Cookies

This site currently sets no cookies at all. Your campaign attribution is held in your browser's own sessionStorage and disappears when you close the tab.

If we later add advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok or Google), we will ask for your consent first and store only your answer in a single cookie named passcadet-consent. Nothing advertising-related loads until you say yes.

Who else sees your data

• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and stores the waitlist database (Cloudflare D1) and the analytics above.
• An email delivery provider, when we send the launch email. We will name it here before we send anything.

We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not share your email or phone number with advertisers, coaching institutes or anyone else.

How long we keep it

Waitlist entries are kept until the exam you signed up for has launched and we have emailed you, or for 24 months, whichever comes first. Event records are kept for 14 months. You can ask us to delete your entry sooner at any time.

Your choices

Email hello@passcadet.com and ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold about you. One email is enough — you do not need to prove anything beyond replying from the address you signed up with. We will act within 30 days.

Every email we send will carry an unsubscribe link, and replying "remove me" to any of them works just as well.

Children

PassCadet is intended for candidates eligible for government recruitment exams. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what we do with your data, we will email everyone on the waitlist before it takes effect.
